How Does Underfloor Heating Work?
In basic terms, underfloor heating is plastic pipe buried in the floor, using either a screed, plated or floating fixing method. Warm water is circulated through the network of pipes, and the heat radiates upward, warming the room evenly and efficiently.
Thermostatic controls in each room allow you to set the perfect temperature for each area of your home, giving you precise control over your comfort and energy use.

Yes. The system requires water temperatures between 45°C and 55°C using thermostatic mixing facilities, providing gentle, even heat across the entire floor surface with no cold spots or draughts.

Do you sell in kit form?
No. Every system is custom-made to your individual specifications. We design each system after reviewing your building plans to prevent inadequate heating from miscalculated requirements.
What guarantee do you offer?
All pipework is guaranteed for 10 years and all controls are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of installation.
What heat output can I expect?
Screeded floors deliver approximately 100W/m² in living areas and 130W/m² in hallways. Plated or floating floors deliver around 70W/m². Each room is calculated individually to ensure adequate heating.
Which boilers are compatible?
Underfloor heating is suitable with all wet central heating systems — gas, oil, solid fuel, conventional, combination and condensing boilers. Mixed systems are also supported, for example underfloor heating downstairs with radiators upstairs.
